Kearns General Plan - 2020

On October 22nd, 2020, the Kearns Metro Township Council voted to adopt the General Plan!
The Kearns General Plan 2020 is the first general plan for the Municipality since it incorporated as a Metro Township in 2017. The General Plan guides the future of planning and development in Kearns. The 2020 Plan includes land use, transportation, and economic development elements.

UPDATE: The Kearns Council adopted the Public Resilience + Infrastructure Element at a council meeting on May 10th, 2021.
The Resilience + Infrastructure Element is a supplementary chapter to the General Plan. The Element looks at Kearns' existing social, digital, and brick-and-mortar infrastructure, as well as ways to improve community resiliency. You can read the public hearing draft by clicking on the link below.
