| Kearns Sidewalk Maintenance | This project will involve removing trees that may be hazardous to pedestrians and vehicles, replacing multiple sections of damaged sidewalk throughout Kearns, and grinding down raised joints on sidewalks to eliminate tripping hazards. Project has been awarded to contractor for construction. Project will be constructed summer 2026. |
| 4220 West Sidewalk | Project has been contracted and is currently in design. Construction is expected late 2027. |
| Northwest Avenue Traffic Calming & Pedestrian Ramps on Sams Blvd and around South Kearns Elementary |
Remove and replace damaged pedestrian ramps and waterways. Install raised crosswalks for the safety of pedestrians crossing the street. This project has been award to contractor for construction. Under construction. |
| Construction of raised crosswalks at the intersections of Northwest Avenue and 5615 South and at Cooper City Drive with Borax Avenue (two intersections) | This project is now expected to be contracted and constructed in Spring 2027. Due to several larger priority, this project has been pushed to a later date. |
| 6200 South Wall and Sidewalk Widening |
Replace existing fences with a concrete wall to help with sound dampening. Replace sidewalk. Will affect these portions of 6200 South: |
| 6200 South Sidewalk and Wall | Provide a new concrete fence and sidewalk along portions of 6200 South North side: approximately between 4960 West to Autozone. South side: Lobelia Drive to Cosmo Dr. |
| Kearns Improvement District Water Line Installation | West Sam's Blvd (4015 West to 4320 West - Under construction. |
| Sidewalk Replacement | Install sidewalk along 4220 West, between 5464 S to 5485. In design. |
